Parts pairing bans are live in CO, WA and OR. Has anyone actually tested it with a phone screen swap?

The laws say manufacturers cannot block or degrade function when you install a part. Curious whether iOS and Samsung actually stopped nagging in those states.

Did an iPhone 14 screen in Oregon last week with a pulled genuine part. The "unknown part" banner still showed for a day then cleared after the pairing tool ran. Progress, not perfection.
