Ceiling is 9 ft, walls are grey. Currently one bulb. How many of the linkable 4 ft lights and what color temperature?

Six to eight of the 4,000 lumen ones for a 400 sq ft garage, 4000K to 5000K, CRI 80+. Two directly over the bench, two per bay, one by the door. And paint the walls and ceiling white first; grey walls eat a third of your light.

Daisy-chain them off one switched outlet and you are done. Watch the total amps on the circuit if you add a heater later.
