Flea market, $8, looked like it was pulled from a lake. Electrolysis overnight, lapped the sole on float glass, sharpened the iron to 25°, new finish on the tote. Takes see-through shavings now.

The No. 5 is the one plane everyone should own. Nice work on the tote, the grain match is better than factory.
