Pressure pot conversion: the hardware-store paint pot that fixes resin bubbles
Difficultyeasy
Cost$120
A 2.5 gallon paint pressure pot ($100 to $130) converted with a quick-connect air fitting, a gauge and a safety valve rated at or above your working pressure. Run 40 to 60 psi from any shop compressor. Pour the resin, put the mold in, close, pressurize for the full cure time. Bubbles shrink to microscopic size instead of leaving voids.
Safety: never exceed the pot's rating, replace the plastic liner-clip lid parts with proper wing nuts if yours has them, and keep the paint tube removed and the hole plugged. Do not use it for vacuum; the lid is not designed for it.

Tried this over the weekend and it worked first time. Thanks for writing it up properly.
This is the kind of post that makes this place worth it.
